This picture frame was given to me as a gift. It was originally white with navy blue accents, and it was in the shape of the top view of a boat. I'm not a really big fan of boats, so I decided to pull out my acrylic paints and work some magic. Now, it looks like a cute little red and white barn, with green grass and yellow flowers. Now, it's perfect to put a picture in of one of my favorite horses, Wind.
We had this picture frame laying around with nothing in it. The wood was getting old and the paint was chipped and faded. Looks like it's time once again to pull out the acrylic paints and get to work. :-) I used the same blue, turqoise, purple, green, and silver paints as I did on my "birthday organizer box", which you can find on my "Wood burning and painting projects page". And now it matches the previously mentioned box, my vanity desk, my night stand, and my bedspread!
(I apologize for the darkness of the picture, I will try to upload a different one later.)
